Doug Kinnaman (Grass Doctor Consulting) is a Certified Turfgrass Professional and has worked in the landscape industry since 1991. He has worked with a local Turfgrass company since 1993 and has also been employed by the largest landscape supply company in the United States gaining knowledge in fertilizers (synthetic & organic), irrigation supply and general landscape supply. Grass Doctor Consulting was started in 2013 from a vision to promote a balance of nutrition, overall health of the turf and soil building. When not working, Doug can be found working in his yard and enjoying the scenery of Olympia.

Grass Doctor Consulting will perform an individual consultation to make sure each lawn will be properly assessed and advised. I will suggest/recommend a prescription for each lawn and a multi-season plan moving forward.

Grass Doctor Consulting, is located in Olympia, WA and has been operating in Thurston County since 2013. The service area includes rural and incorporated areas of Olympia, Lacey, and Tumwater. Our customer base is comprised of approximately 90 percent residential (working directly with the homeowner) and 10 percent commercial (working directly with the property owner or manager).
Grass Doctor Consulting, a consulting company, has a primary focus of providing lawn coaching to homeowners and commercial customers. Routine tasks such evaluating soil tests, site evaluation and providing a site-specific lawn assessment and recommendations for overall turfgrass performance. Recommendations include areas such as: mowing, aerating, fertilizing & liming, turf renovation, improving soil types, water requirements for turf, irrigation scheduling, etc.
Grass Doctor Consulting takes an active role in educating customers and the general public with onsite education, sharing information, based on several seasons of observations and working in real world conditions.
